3 Minute Meditation for Prosperity and Self-Esteem

(Yoga for Prosperity, Siri Kirpaul Kaur Khalsa, p. 50)

  • Posture: Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine.

  • Focus: Look down towards the center of the chin with closed eyes (enhances your connection to your core self).

  • Breath: Inhale deeply, mentally recite, “I am bountiful, I am blissful, I am beautiful.” Then exhale completely, hold the breath out and mentally recite, “Excel, excel, fearless.”

  • Mantra: See above.

  • Mudra: No mudra was specified for this meditation. Sitting with both arms resting straight out over the knees, both hands in Gyan Mudra, is fine. Or use another resting mudra position if you like.

  • Time: 3 minutes.

  • End: Inhale deeply, hold for 10-30 seconds and exhale.

  • Comment: This is a short, sweet and easy meditation. It may be done several times a day.
