(K.R.I. Level One Teacher Training Manual, p. 446.)
Posture: Sit in Easy Pose or in a chair with a straight spine with a light neck lock (Jalandhar Bandh) and root lock (Mulbandh) (or in Lotus Pose).

Meaning of Mantra: Ra=sun energy; Ma=moon energy; Da=earth energy; Sa=infinity, universal energy; Sa=repeat in second half of mantra; Say= the personal embodiment of Sa; So=the personal sense of merger with Sa; Hung= the Infinite, vibrating and real.
Mudra: Use Raj Kriya Mudra. Place both palms face up in the lap. Put the right/left hand into the left/right for men/women. The thumb tips touch.
Time: Continue for 11-31 minutes.
End: Inhale deeply, hold the breath for 10-15 seconds and relax.
Comments: If you want to understand the power of this mantra, do the meditation for 31 minutes a day for 40 days. Eat lightly during that period and drink plenty of water, fluids and Yogi Tea.
This practice can lift you above any normal depression. It will give you new ideas and optimism about the world and about your choices. You are designed to function well with vast thoughts. Sometimes you lose the connection to great vistas, to intuitions of the Infinite and to the chain of being of all life. The mantra blends qualities that are like a seed template. That seed planted deep in the mind opens the inner doorway to uplifting and healing thoughts.
