Mudra: Interlock your fingers and raise your hands over your head, so that your arms become a halo around it. Make the halo as round as you can, neither up too high, nor so low that it touches your head. Concentrate at your navel and meditate to Jasbir Kaur’s Mul Mantra tape.

Time: Continue for 11-31 minutes.

End: Not indicated. You may always inhale, hold briefly, exhale and relax the arms down.

Comments: When you want to excel despite all deficiencies, do this kriya. This meditation uses the physical flow of your energy to activate the body’s healing force. Practice it for 31 minutes a day for 15 days and see the results in your physical well-being. Technically, the Mul (or, “Mool”) Mantra goes up to “Jap.” “Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach, Hai Bhee Sach, Nanak Hosee Bhee Sach” is a Mangala Charan, that is, a mantra that is to connect the speaker and the Infinite, the Infinite and the speaker. Yogi Bhajan has often referred to the Mangala Charan mantra as a “Kundalini Mantra.”

The entire Mul Mantra is the highest of all mantras and it contains the “root” (or “mul”) of sound that is the basis for all effective mantras.
