Healing Power of Triple ‘Prosperity’ Gong & Mantra
with Shakta Kaur, Hari Dev Singh, and Sanjam Singh

Friday, April 16
6:30 pm to 7:45 pm
($15 in advance / $17 at door)

Bring a friend and join us for one of our popular monthly sessions of gong and mantra.  For April we’ve chosen another mantra for prosperity so you may enjoy the arrival of spring with all the abundance that you deserve! As always, we begin every ‘Healing Power of Gong & Mantra’ session with light Kundalini Yoga to prepare the body for what’s to come (the yoga is appropriate for all levels). Then we move into deep relaxation with not one, not two, but three beautiful Paiste symphonic gongs. Your mind will have no defense to the gong after 90 seconds!

After the gong we use sound (mantra) to remind us that the entire universe was built on sound, on vibration. And, as we vibrate a particular combination of sounds, we are able to tune into a different level of intelligence, or, consciousness.

Join us for the deep vibrational healing of triple gong and mantra on Friday - Click Here to register.

Discover the Art & Science of Improving Yourself!
Join us in Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada for an in-depth experience in the technology of how to fulfill yourself as a human being!
“If you want to learn something, read about it.
If you want to understand something, write about it.
If you want to master something, teach it.” -- Yogi Bhajan
Kundalini Yoga is a sacred science. The sacredness of ‘you’ is awakened through its practice. You begin to realize there is nothing ‘out there’ that will make your life easier ... that you already have ‘within’ what you need for a life of ease, joy and abundance.

If this sounds like something you would like to explore on a deeper and personal level, then our Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training course in Prince Edward Island is designed just for you! In particular if you have noticed—
• ... that the pace of your life is increasing and you would like to know how to respond optimally to the constant change in your environment.
• ... that you could use some guidance on how to overcome some of the obstacles that seem to pop up here and there as you move along your life’s path.
• ... that your human machine needs not only physical stability at a time like this, but, it needs mental stability as well.

30 Days Away
Many guests of KYL have already begun to practice a yoga set (kriya*) and/or a meditation in preparation for WTY Chicago. The ‘Recipes’ section of our website has many delicious vegetarian dishes to enjoy in the weeks prior to WTY. Click Here to see what we mean.
*A kriya in Kundalini Yoga is a sequence of postures, breath, mudra, eye focus and sound that are integrated together to access a particular state of mind, of well-being and/or of health.

Details
The beauty of White Tantric Yoga is that it is subtle, it is exalting and it works to give you the mastery of life.” -- Yogi Bhajan

The yogis say that our minds release 1,000 thoughts in the blink of an eye. Some of these thoughts get lost in the unconscious and some get stuck in the subconscious affecting the conscious mind. These thoughts become feelings, emotions, desires and/or fantasies. Instead of mastering our mind, our mind and thoughts end up directing us!

White Tantric Yoga® (WTY) enables you to break through these subconscious blocks so that you can have a more enjoyable life. In the shortest time (one full day) you can experience release from a lot of the burden you carry in your mind.

WTY is done in pairs as a group meditation. Everyone sits facing a partner and follows instructions for the meditation given via DVD by the Mahan Tantric and Master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan. [No need to bring a partner.]  A representative of the Mahan Tantric will be present to facilitate WTY Chicago.

Our day will consist of between six and eight meditations incorporating:
· a yoga posture (Asana)
· an eye focus (Dristi)
·
a hand position (Mudra)
· a breathing technique (Pranayam)
· and/or chanting (Mantra)
Sometimes the meditations are accompanied by music. The meditations vary in length, up to 62-minutes. There are ample breaks between each meditation. The environment is peaceful with a friendly, uplifting and supportive atmosphere.  Come spend the day with us and fortify your spirit!

Included in the course fee is a wonderful vegetarian lunch, featuring recipes from Hari Dev Singh's kitchen.  Click Here to register.

Walking is the #1 form of exercise in America. And, Breathwalk® is the next step in feeling great and conditioning both the body and mind. Breathwalk offers you a wide range of choices—choice over your energy level, choice over your mood, and choice over your mental state. This Training teaches over 20 Breathwalk programs each addressing a specific need. For example, you can choose a Breathwalk to promote ‘Energy and Vitality’ or ‘Weight Control and Overall Fitness.’ Or, you can choose a Breathwalk that shifts you from ‘Anxious to Calm’ or from ‘Scattered to Focused.’ The choice is always yours!

You will gain the skills to prevent judgments, fears or circumstances from obstructing your view of the true identity of everyone in your life - as ‘Sat Nam.’  Penetrating through illusions and always relating to the true Essence—the Oneness of all—in your relationships is the ultimate goal.

Come explore how to:
  • Create and maintain Soul-based relationships;
  • Honor the polarities of the male and female energies;
  • Recognize and create Authentic Relationships in each area of your life; and
  • Cultivate personal practices that develop your capacity for Authentic Relationships.

Each day you will study with the Master--Yogi Bhajan--in a video class and meditation. In addition, you will work individually and in groups, exploring the key concepts and ideas in Authentic Relationships. You will experience kriyas* and meditations as well as other processes to recognize how your personal life is affected both by Authentic Relationships and by relationships with a false core.

This is a 60+ hour course; one of five Level 2 modules. Fifty hours are spent in the classroom with 12 hours of home-study to be completed 90 days after the course concludes.

Moon Watch
CURRENT MOON

New Moon - April 14

11 Days After - April 25

Full Moon - April 28

(Above Dates Adjusted for Central Time Zone)
New Moon
The New Moon is when you are at your lowest...energy-wise. It is a good day to fast on lemon and water. Fast from sun-up until the next morning at breakfast, when you "break" the "fast."

Waxing Moon
... is the time between the New Moon and the day before the Full Moon. During this time the energy of the body moves into your higher centers (chakras). This is the time to bring new things, new people or new relationships into your life or to accelerate the progress of your special projects.

11 Days After New Moon
Yogi Bhajan taught that this is the day when you are in balance. The glandular system readjusts itself on this day. Your metabolism is changing, so if you eat very lightly (green foods) or if you live just on water and lemon today, your health will be perfect. Eat very lightly during the day. Eat only one meal and drink lemon and water the rest of the day.

Full Moon
You are naturally accelerated on a full moon. You are at your highest energy level. The secretions in your body will be at their maximum, so you don't want your energy being used to consume food. Save your energy to reconstruct yourself. Try to drink only liquids on this day. If you feel you must eat, drink only milk. (But, don't drink cold milk right out of the refrigerator. Milk should be brought to a boil. Allow the milk to foam up and then bring the heat down so the milk is on a slow boil for 5-10 minutes. While cooking it, you may add a pinch of ground turmeric, a pinch of black pepper, a cinnamon stick, or a few pinches of ginger to reduce any mucous causing side effect.)

A Thought From Yogi Bhajan
"
There are two ways of living in this world; the way of worry and the way of relaxation.  If you worry, you have to concentrate to imagine, and it becomes physical work.  But if you turn your mind to the Universal Mind, then things will come to you.
"
