"Change Maker Meditation" - Kirtan Kriya
- an ancient tool designed to help end unfinished cycles.*
-- Do you have some unfinished business that could use a gentle push
towards completion?... then join Shakta on this conference
call to learn a powerful yogic tool that can help you achieve a higher
level of understanding about yourself and the world around you.
The Kundalini Meditation that Shakta will share is one that many
practice together 40 days prior to the beginning of KYL’s Teacher
Training courses. This meditation uses the syllables Sa Ta Na Ma:
-- Are there any less-than-positive habits you
would like to break?
-- Would you like to improve your memory,
concentration and focus?
Sa = Infinity, cosmos, beginning
Ta = Life, existence
Ma = Rebirth.
Sa Ta Na Ma is, quite literally,
the cycle of creation. From the Infinite comes life and individual
existence. From life comes death or change. From death comes the rebirth
of consciousness to the joy of the Infinite through which compassion
leads back to life. (Sept 2017)
"Stress Relief & Resolving Issues from the Past" -
Stress relief was the topic. Shakta shared that ‘stress’ means the pressure that life exerts on you and the way pressure makes you feel and act. You experience stress or strain when your inner resources are inefficient or blocked. It’s then that you can’t respond to stress effectively. Too much unprocessed stress ultimately distorts your focus, your clarity and even your sense of self.
"Embrace Your Destiny" -
Shakta speaks about how at every moment we can choose to act in our fate or in our destiny. In fate, we create karma--actions we must complete or resolve. Acting in destiny we are in flow with the universe, with our spirit and with our basic nature. These actions are beyond karma. They are in dharma,
or, living within our destiny cycle.
But, because we have a will which has freedom we can make new choices to dissolve fate and transform ourselves. Utilizing the sacred science of Kundalini yoga and meditation we can re-write our destiny and live to our fullest potential. This happens when the soul is un-shrouded and clear. At that moment transformation takes place and the magic begins.
"Beat the Blues" -
How can you or someone you love ‘beat the blues?’ Besides being a treatable medical condition there are other ways to alleviate symptoms of mild depression.
On this special call with Shakta you’ll learn how:
-- to help yourself if you feel depressed
-- the technology of sound or Naad can affect the body, mind and spirit
-- meditation as a daily tool can prevent and alleviate mild depression
-- to use bananas, dates and orange juice to create ‘Depression Buster Juice,’ plus
-- four yogic techniques to help you 'beat the blues.'

"How to Start Teaching Kundalini Yoga in Your Community"
- Shakta lead a special 3HO IKYTA Community Conversation designed to
give new teachers practical tips on how to confidently transition from
Teacher Training and out in the world ... to teach!
Opportunities abound for you to share the spiritual abundance of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, but, where do you start? How do you let the world know that you’re there to help?
"Healing the Wounds of Love" -
We all have old wounds of love. Some exist from childhood. Some exist from friendships, lovers or spouses. All of these wounds of love enable our hidden agendas, our ‘masks’ and hide our authenticity. Join Shakta to learn how to establish a new story for all your relationships — your soul’s story. You’ll learn why when you do certain things like
mantra, meditation and yoga you take charge and change your internal story.
"Sutras for Self-Mastery"
- Learn how to use the five Aquarian Sutras as tools of Self-Mastery. Shakta will talk about using the Sutras as tools every day rather than just having them hang as slogans on the wall.
- Join Shakta as she shares ancient yogic teachings about men, women, sexuality and the divine.
"Three Minutes to a New You" - simple yogic techniques that you can use in your daily life to beat stress.
“Sitting at my desk, listening to 'a conversation with Shakta,' my first thoughts were: how very 'REAL' and comforting she is! How nurturing to my soul is her voice and the teachings... You explained much that others who teach kundalini take for granted, such as the aura... lengths of meditation times... etc... You made the kryias so 'human' and not these exaggerated exercises that must get to 11 minutes or they will be 'null and void.' Such an Excellent teacher! More like a 'new Friend.' My only regret is that I am in another state and not close enough to have the pleasure of experiencing the energy of this woman... Thank you, Shakta.” -- N.K. New Jersey
